  • What were the prior year audit fees for RWA and SGA?
    • Approximately $21,000, which included both entities.
  • Was last year's scope the same as stated in the RFP?
    • Yes
  • How many days did your prior auditors spend at the Authority's offices to perform past audits?
    • Anywhere from 3 to 5 days.
  • What was the timing of their site visits?
    • We typically tried to do the visits sometime in October depending on everyone's schedule.
  • Any major reason why the district is considering a change of audit firms?
    • Our authority has a policy that "RWA may enter into multi-year contracts with a term not to exceed five years or renew one-year contracts for not more than five successive terms with the same auditor or auditing firm."
  • Any major disagreements in regards to accounting principles or auditing procedures?
    • No
  • What type of accounting/bookkeeping system does the district use?
    • Sage Business Works
  • Any major change of budgetary size or management turnover from previous year?
    • No management turnover. Our budget changes from year to year depending upon how much state grant money is available.
  • Approximately how many audit adjustments did the prior firm make as part of their audit?
    • No audit adjustments.

    • No, the previous firm is not eligible to apply.
