Be Water Smart Information
Even in normal rainfall years, Californians must use water wisely. RWA offers tips and resources for saving water, saving energy and reducing your metered water bill. Check out information for homes, gardens and businesses.



Regional Solutions
RWA members are collaborating on programs that will protect and enhance the quality and reliability of the region's water supply.



IRWMP
In May 2006 an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan for the American River Basin was adopted. The plan will help ensure a sustainable regional water supply while providing other environmental and recreational benefits.



Water-Wise Gardening: In the Gold Country Region
An interactive website to answer your gardening needs. RWA provides garden tours for design ideas, a garden gallery to search for water efficient plants that meet your needs, water conservation tips, and much more.



Rebate Programs
Local water suppliers and energy utilities have programs to help homeowners reduce water use and to save energy. To find contact information for your local water service provider click here.



Tools for the Classroom
RWA sponsors both the “Great Water Mystery” school assembly program and the Sacramento Bee’s Newspaper In Education "Be Water Smart" program to bring water information to more than 15,000 students each year.
